Fashion has been part of Margherita Michelon-Ferreira’s life from a very young age. While studying fashion, her natural talent for design was recognised early, earning her Best Designer during her fashion school years.

She later launched her own label, Yes Clothing, designing and manufacturing collections in South Africa. With her own sample room and production team, Margherita built a successful fashion brand supplying boutiques and retailers across the country.

Her work was recognised with two South African Fashion Awards for Excellence in Fashion and Design, celebrating her creativity and contribution to the industry.

After many years in design and manufacturing, Margherita recognised a growing desire in the South African market for clothing that was more vibrant, expressive and full of life.

This search led her to discover the beautiful brand RYY, and what began with a single phone call soon developed into a long-standing partnership.

Today Margherita is the founder of Rubyyes, a boutique destination for vibrant resort wear located at the Old Biscuit Mill in Cape Town, as well as an established importer and distributor of RYY and IBSA in South Africa.

Her passion remains unchanged — curating beautiful collections that celebrate colour, individuality and effortless glamour.
